INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS



General


TInternational applicants are welcome to apply to USUAA to Bachelor (Bakalavr), Specialist, and Master (Magistr) degree courses. Please visit the page Courses on our web-site. Admission to the university is competitive.

International students are charged a tuition fee. However, the Russian government provides quotas for foreign nationals to enable them study free of charge. You may apply for such a quota place at a Russian university of your choice and have your tuition fee covered by the Russian government. Please note that at our university such quota-funded applicants will have to take entry tests and demonstrate they have appropriate skills in fine art, Russian language, and some other disciplines.


How to apply


International applicants must submit an application in the Russian language together with supporting documentation as follows:

  • a copy of the passport or any other ID establishing the identity of the applicant and his/her status in the Russian Federation;
  • a certificate of education and its duly certified Russian translation;
  • 2 (two) photographs (3х4 cm).

All translations into the Russian language must be in the applicant’s name and surname as spelt in the entry visa.

You can submit your documents

  • in person at the Admissions Office of the university, or
  • via your personal account opened in the university’s information system on request.

Entry tests


International applicants are admitted based on the results of entry tests in relevant academic disciplines.


Personal Achievements


If you have any personal achievements, such as awards from Olympiads, competitions, etc., these may contribute to your overall score in the competition for admission. Please contact our Admissions Office for more information.


Language of Tuition


The language of tuition is Russian. You may learn Russian at any of the Russian universities that offer courses of Russian as a foreign language, or in your country. In any case, your command of Russian will be tested in the entry examination at the university during the admission campaign in July.
